This hat is great! It seems to be made of a heavy canvas-type material. The brim is about 3 inches wide. The hat also has a nice cloth lining. I like everything about the hat, except for the chin strap. It's attached with Velcro, so I removed it and attached my own strap.
Over all, I think that both the hat and the price are great.
