On December 5, Eileen Gu won the championship with a total score of 184.25 points, and won the gold in the first show of the season at the 2021-2022 freestyle skiing World Cup American Station.
Ski jumping is one of the three events that Eileen Gu participated in at the Beijing Winter Olympics. She is in excellent condition in preparation for the competition this season. Prior to this, she completed a double cork 1440 in Austria training for 2 weeks, becoming the world's first female athlete to complete the action.
Originally, Eileen Gu was supposed to make her debut at slopestyle World Cup opener in Stubai, but due to accidental wrestling in pre-match training, she withdrew from this match.
As her physical condition improved, Eileen Gu returned to the arena and played in the women’s freeski big air World Cup in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and won the victory!
